Locum Educational Psychologist – Flexible Days in Durham

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Educational Psychologist to join our client on a locum basis in Durham. The role focuses on delivering statutory assessments to support students in overcoming challenges and reaching their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct statutory educational psychology assessments for pupils.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on assessment findings.
• Collaborate with schools, families, and multidisciplinary teams as required.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to professional standards and deadlines.

Required profile

• Qualified educational psychologist.
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Available to complete at least one assessment per month.
• Experience with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues is desirable.
