Locum Educational Psychologist – Flexible Days in Oldham

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Educational Psychologist to join our client on a locum basis in Oldham. The role focuses on delivering statutory assessments for students, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential. You will enjoy a flexible schedule, working the number of days that suit you while operating outside IR35.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct statutory educational psychology assessments for pupils.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for schools and families.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to professional standards.
Required profile
- Qualified in Educational Psychology.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Available to complete at least one assessment per month.
- Experience with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues is desirable.
Required skills
- Statutory assessment expertise.
- Knowledge of educational psychology frameworks.
- Understanding of SEMH considerations.
