Locum Educational Psychologist – Lewisham

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Educational Psychologist to join our client in Lewisham on a locum basis. The role focuses on delivering statutory assessments to support students facing educational, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct statutory educational psychology assessments for pupils as required.
- Prepare clear, evidence‑based reports and recommendations.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents and multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to professional standards and deadlines.
Required profile
- Qualified degree in Educational Psychology.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Ability to complete at least one assessment per month.
- Experience or interest in SEMH issues is desirable.
Required skills
- Professional assessment and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of statutory frameworks governing educational psychology.
