Locum Educational Psychologist – Surrey (Flexible)

About the role
This locum position supports schools in Surrey by delivering statutory educational psychology assessments. You will work on a flexible schedule, completing at least one assessment per month, and help address a current staffing shortage.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct statutory educational psychology assessments for pupils.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for schools and families.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to professional standards.
Required profile
- Qualified educational psychologist.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Availability to complete a minimum of one assessment each month.
- Experience with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues is desirable.
Required skills
- Strong assessment and reporting abilities.
- Excellent communication with children, families, and school staff.
