Locum Educational Psychologist – Wirral

About the role
This temporary, locum position supports schools in the Wirral area by delivering statutory educational psychology assessments. You will work flexibly, choosing the number of days you can commit each week, and help address a current staffing shortage.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct statutory assessments for pupils as required by the client.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations based on assessment findings.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to ensure appropriate support for students.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality and data protection standards.
Required profile
- Qualified educational psychologist.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Available to complete at least one assessment per month.
- Experience with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues is desirable.
