Locum Family Therapist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Family Therapist on a locum basis to support a specialist mental health clinic in West Sussex. The position is part‑time, covering two days per week, and focuses on delivering evidence‑based systemic therapy for adults with eating disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide systemic family therapy interventions for patients and their families.
• Conduct family assessments and co‑create collaborative treatment plans.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.
• Attend MDT meetings and contribute to care planning.
• Offer specialist advice and support to colleagues when required.

Required profile

• Qualified Family Therapist with experience in eating disorders or broader mental health.
• Alternatively, a Psychologist with a strong systemic therapy background.
• Ability to work two days per week on a locum/temporary basis.
