Logistics Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support the management of warehouse and distribution activities across the UK and EU. Based in Middlesbrough, you will work within the Logistics Business Unit of Glanbia Performance Nutrition, reporting to the Warehousing and Distribution Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management of 3PL performance, tracking SLAs, KPIs and producing reports.
• Assist in planning and managing UK export shipments, EU import shipments and intra‑European movements.
• Contribute to supply‑chain projects, driving business and process change, efficiency improvements and new ways of working across Glanbia and 3PL sites (B2B, D2C, DSD).
• Support financial and procurement initiatives within the logistics team.
• Handle financial elements of logistics, including invoice and purchase order management, financial tracking, reporting and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Manage day‑to‑day logistics operations as the go‑to person for warehousing and distribution.

Required profile

• Background in transport, supply chain or logistics.
• General all‑round logistics experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
• Organised with strong attention to detail.
• Results‑oriented problem solver with an improvement mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to last‑minute changes.
• Willingness to challenge the status‑quo.
• Financial knowledge or exposure is desirable but not essential.
