Logistics Customer Service Officer (Fluent Mandarin)

About the role

The Logistics Customer Service Officer will support an international air freight operation from a remote UK base. Working across multiple time zones, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth handling of shipments and accurate information flow.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational support for international air freight forwarding.
• Respond to customer enquiries via email and maintain timely communication.
• Enter and update order details in the company’s logistics system.
• Coordinate with global teams to relay information and track shipment progress.
• Monitor business processes, identify bottlenecks and report status to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Fluent in Mandarin and English (Japanese a plus).
• Previous experience in international logistics or freight forwarding.
• Strong communication, organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Reliable internet connection and suitable home office equipment.
