Logistics Specialist

About the role

People First is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support one of the UK’s fastest‑growing coffee brands. You will manage end‑to‑end logistics, from inbound shipments to customer deliveries, while ensuring inventory accuracy and cost‑effective transport.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound requirements and outbound shipments to UK and ROI customers, overseeing goods flow from Sweden and Latvia.
• Work with 3PL partners to ensure efficient, cost‑effective deliveries and resolve any shipment issues.
• Partner with the UK Order Desk and customer supply‑chain teams to maintain high service levels.
• Plan UK stock in collaboration with Sales and Head Office, monitor stock levels and flag risks.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and provide regular stock updates to stakeholders.
• Manage day‑to‑day communication with UK and ROI 3PL partners, monitor performance against KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Produce logistics performance reports, support budget tracking and identify process optimisation opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics operations, stock planning and 3PL coordination.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor KPIs and identify improvement areas.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
