Machine Learning Engineer – Prop Trading Fund

About the role

Join a technology‑focused proprietary trading fund as a Machine Learning Engineer. You will help shape the ML platform, selecting the right models and tools to support trading decisions while improving research workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain training and inference infrastructure for production ML models.
• Evaluate and choose appropriate algorithms (neural networks, random forests, gradient‑boosted trees, ensembles) for specific problems.
• Collaborate with researchers to tighten feedback cycles and streamline experimentation.
• Develop clean, reusable APIs and services that internal teams can easily adopt.

Required profile

• Strong mathematical foundation, including linear algebra and understanding of loss functions, regularization, and optimization schedules.
• Proven ability to move ML concepts from prototype to production at scale.
• Passion for software engineering best practices and continuous learning.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as Jax or TensorFlow.
• Building and operating training/inference pipelines.
• Solid knowledge of machine‑learning techniques and model architecture design.
