Maintenance Electrician – Days Based Role with Work‑Life Balance

About the role

This permanent, days‑based position offers a structured Monday‑to‑Friday schedule (8:00 am‑4:00 pm) within a large education estate in Reading. You will use your electrical expertise while enjoying a supportive environment that prioritises work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs across academic, commercial and specialist buildings.
• Install and service power, lighting and associated electrical systems.
• Support the upkeep of key estate electrical infrastructure and liaise with external contractors.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards throughout all tasks.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with proven experience in maintenance and installation work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, reliable service in a campus setting.
