Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias (4 on/4 off shift)

About the role

This position offers an exciting opportunity for an electrically‑biased maintenance engineer to join a leading multi‑site manufacturing company in Cupar. Working on a 4‑on/4‑off day‑and‑night shift pattern, you will be involved in both planned and reactive maintenance of production machinery, receiving comprehensive product training and a tailored development plan.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical fault finding and repairs on a variety of production equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and respond to urgent breakdowns.
• Contribute to engineering projects across multiple sites.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow health & safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a maintenance engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Formal electrical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ).
• Ability to work the 4‑on/4‑off shift pattern, including nights.
• Valid UK work permit.
