Management Accountant – 6‑Month Temporary Contract

About the role
We are seeking a proactive Management Accountant to join a business in Yarnton on a six‑month temporary contract. This full‑time position offers the chance to immediately contribute to the finance team and support key financial processes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals and pre‑payments.
- Produce financial reports and variance analysis.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Reconcile balance‑sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Analyse financial information to support business decisions.
- Support cash‑flow reporting and financial planning.
- Contribute to process improvements and ad‑hoc finance projects.
Required profile
- Strong month‑end accounting experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and experience using finance systems.
