Management Accountant – Music Publishing

About the role

Our client, a leading global music company based in London, is seeking a newly qualified Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team. You will play a key part in preparing financial statements, supporting budgeting processes, and delivering insightful performance reports.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare income statements, balance sheets and other statutory financial documents.
• Assist with the budgeting and forecasting cycle.
• Create and maintain PowerBI dashboards to analyse company performance for department heads.
• Support the royalty distribution process by generating reports for the Royalty Director and processing payments.
• Produce monthly management accounts for the UK parent company and seven overseas subsidiaries.
• Help the Finance Manager with work schedules and respond to queries during annual external audits.
• Handle tax reporting, including VAT, withholding and corporate tax filings.
• Cross‑train to act as a back‑up for other finance team members.

Required profile

• Newly qualified Management Accountant (or equivalent qualification).
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across finance and operational teams.
• Willingness to support a fast‑moving music publishing environment.

• Competitive salary £48,000‑£52,000 per year (DOE).
• Hybrid working – office based Monday‑Thursday, Friday remote (Kings Cross).
