Management Accountant – Power Generation

About the role

Seabank Power Limited, one of the UK’s largest gas‑fired power stations, is seeking a Management Accountant to join its experienced finance team in Bristol. You will own the preparation of monthly management accounts, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to long‑term financial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals, pre‑payments, cash analysis and KPI reporting.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and maintain the fixed‑asset register.
• Produce two sets of management accounts and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Develop quarterly profit & loss, balance‑sheet and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Assist with year‑end statutory accounts, audit liaison and shareholder reporting.
• Support cash‑flow management and the five‑year business plan, including annual budgeting.
