Manager, Architecture & Engineering Design (UK Project)

About the role

The Manager, Architecture & Engineering Design will oversee and manage the design and construction administration effort for a specific UK project within NBCUniversal. This role ensures that architectural and engineering deliverables align with creative intent, budget, and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Attend weekly project meetings and coordinate between architecture, engineering, and ride/show vendors.
• Develop and manage preliminary and final facility impact documentation.
• Monitor on‑site construction, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues between drawings and actual build.
• Manage requests for information (RFIs), evaluate vendor responses, and prepare modification documents.
• Oversee architecture and engineering vendors throughout design and construction phases, ensuring design intent is maintained.
• Develop design strategies to deliver quality, cost‑effective, and constructible drawings and specifications.
• Review drawings and specifications for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to creative appearance.

Required profile

• Proven experience overseeing architectural and engineering design projects.
• Strong ability to manage resources, finances, and project schedules.
• Experience coordinating multiple vendors and resolving construction discrepancies.
• Capability to evaluate technical responses and produce modification documentation.
