Manager, Process Architect

About the role

Checkout.com is seeking a strategic Process Architecture Manager to drive operational excellence across its Finance function. You will design and scale finance processes, partner with senior finance leaders, and build the framework for global FinOps growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior Finance leaders (AP, Treasury, Tax, Accounting) to identify bottlenecks and prioritize high‑ROI initiatives.
• Establish standards, methodologies and toolkits (BPMN, documentation templates) to ensure consistency across process‑improvement projects.
• Own the end‑to‑end architecture of complex, cross‑functional workflows, ensuring seamless scaling of financial operations.
• Define and report key operational KPIs, surface performance gaps and hold the business accountable for improvements.
• Lead change‑management activities for process re‑engineering, ensuring smooth adoption by global teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years in Process Excellence, Business Transformation or Operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of core finance cycles (Procure‑to‑Pay, Record‑to‑Report, Order‑to‑Cash) and regulated fintech control environments.
• Proven ability to design operating models that support hyper‑growth and to leverage AI/automation for efficiency.
• Exceptional presentation skills, translating complex data into clear strategic recommendations for executives.
• Experience thriving in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments and building structures from scratch.
