Managing Consultant – Tech Recruitment (Manchester)

About the role

Harvey Nash is seeking an experienced Managing Consultant to lead its Manchester Tech Specialisms team. This hybrid position combines hands‑on recruitment with strategic leadership, allowing you to grow existing client relationships while expanding the office’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business development across the UK & Ireland and generate revenue through contract and permanent placements.
• Maintain and deepen long‑term client partnerships, re‑engaging existing accounts for fresh opportunities.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of three recruiters, fostering high performance and billing focus.
• Collaborate with Harvey Nash’s Leadership Team on growth strategy and work with specialist groups across the network.
• Play a pivotal role in scaling the Manchester office and positioning it as a market‑leading division.

Required profile

• Proven track record in technology recruitment (contract or permanent) with strong billing results.
• Commercial mindset with a demonstrated ability to win new business and grow client relationships.
• Ambitious, confident leader who enjoys coaching and developing others.
