Managing Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Skanska is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join its Infrastructure team on the Anglian Water project in East Anglia. You will be responsible for delivering safe, on‑time, and sustainable projects while maintaining strong commercial performance and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Produce robust, accurate cost estimates aligned to scope, incorporating risks and opportunities.
• Lead and support commercial and procurement strategies with senior buyers, ensuring efficient tender processes.
• Prepare clear, accurate subcontracts that reflect agreed scope and commercial requirements.
• Manage subcontracts in line with contract obligations, including payments, compensation events, programme submissions, and communications.
• Deliver live forecasting aligned to the project programme with reporting against WBS/CBS structures.

Required profile

• Degree or HNC qualified, or equivalent professional experience.
• Professional qualification or pursuit of RICS, CIOB, or CICES accreditation.
• Proven experience leading high‑performing teams.
• Strong contract administration expertise with solid knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts.
• Experience managing change to protect commercial outcomes and drive performance.
