About the role
We are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join a busy foundry team in Chard. The role is full‑time, Monday to Thursday, offering a stable schedule and clear progression opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Work safely in a foundry environment.
- Mould and finish (fettle) metal castings.
- Carry out general lifting and manual handling tasks.
- Support production processes and uphold health and safety standards.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting is preferred.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
- Reliable, punctual and a strong team player.

What we offer
- Starting rate of £12.71 per hour, paid weekly.
- Monday‑Thursday shift, 6:45 am – 5:00 pm, no weekend work.
