Manufacturing Test Engineer

About the role

We are a successful, well‑established technology, engineering and manufacturing company operating globally. To support our expansion, we are looking for a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join our Mechanical team at our modern site in Yateley.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct electrical/electronic and tank test procedures from component level through PCB, chassis and final assembly.
• Identify and resolve fault diagnosis issues by adjustment or repair, and raise non‑conformance reports as required.
• Assist with basic assembly activities, maintain test documentation and calibration certificates, and support ERP and IT systems.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering, Stores, Quality and other departments to ensure timely resolution of test‑related issues.

Required profile

• Proven track record of diagnostic fault finding down to component level in an electronic manufacturing environment.
• Competent use of testing tools such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies and timer counters.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, circuit diagrams and assembly documentation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and familiarity with ERP systems.
• HNC Electronics or equivalent qualification plus hands‑on experience is preferred.
