Marketing and Communications Director

About the role

The Marketing & Communications Director will report to the CMO and translate business objectives into a comprehensive marketing plan that drives revenue growth across the UK and Europe. This senior, hands‑on role balances strategic vision with day‑to‑day execution, overseeing brand, creative, campaign and social functions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end Marketing & Communications strategy for the UK and European markets, with a focus on doubling UK performance and accelerating European growth.
• Lead ATL (TV, radio, print) strategy, testing, optimisation and scaling to generate measurable demand.
• Develop and execute BTL and social campaigns that align with commercial targets.
• Build the structure, localisation approach and execution model for new European markets, including Germany and France.
• Improve internal creative capability to reduce reliance on external agencies.
• Manage a multi‑disciplinary team across Brand, Creative, Campaigns and Social, ensuring clear direction, accountability and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with product, data, operations, customer support and finance teams to align marketing activities with business priorities.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in marketing and communications, preferably within a multi‑market environment.
• Hands‑on approach with the ability to move between strategic planning and operational execution.
• Strong track record of scaling ATL, BTL and social initiatives that deliver revenue impact.
• Experience building and localising marketing structures for new European markets.
• Ability to lead and develop cross‑functional creative teams.
