Marketing Director – High‑Tech Europe (Data Center & Microelectronics)

About the role

We are seeking a Marketing Director to lead the Europe High‑Tech business for Nalco Water, focusing on data centre and microelectronics markets. Based in Europe, you will shape and execute the growth strategy, working closely with sales, R&D, supply chain and digital teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the Europe growth strategy and marketing plans for the High‑Tech division.
• Build and lead a high‑performing, inclusive marketing team.
• Drive portfolio strategy, including positioning, lifecycle management, pricing support and investment focus.
• Partner with sales and regional teams to activate strategy, deepen customer engagement and win key opportunities.
• Lead commercialization of new chemicals, equipment, digital tools and services.
• Develop value propositions, messaging, sales tools and customer‑facing content.
• Translate market insights, competitive intelligence and performance data into actionable plans.
• Conduct market segmentation, customer prioritisation and opportunity assessment.
• Present strategic reviews, innovation plans and market assessments to senior leadership.
• Identify and mitigate portfolio, supply, quality, regulatory or market risks.
• Ensure the sales force receives effective training, campaign activation and commercial enablement.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in marketing within high‑tech, data centre or microelectronics sectors.
• Strong track record of driving profitable growth and commercialising innovative solutions.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with sales, operations, finance, R&D and digital teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% across Europe.
