Marketing Manager – Brand & B2B Lead

About the role

HSL Compliance Limited is seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead the brand from its Ross-on-Wye headquarters. Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, you will shape group‑wide positioning, drive B2B customer acquisition and support commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated marketing and communications plan that strengthens brand positioning and aligns with commercial objectives.
• Build and manage a thought‑leadership programme, creating technical content for digital, social and offline channels.
• Collaborate with external agencies to optimise campaigns, increase inbound leads and acquire high‑margin B2B customers.
• Lead promotional events, trade shows and industry exhibitions, ensuring delivery of marketing assets.
• Measure, evaluate and report on marketing KPIs to improve ROI.
• Present ideas, strategies and budgets to internal teams and support senior leadership in executive meetings.

Required profile

• Extensive marketing experience in fast‑paced B2B service environments.
• Proven track record of creating full‑scale marketing plans, brand management and thought‑leadership execution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a creative mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field.
• Full UK driving licence for regular travel across UK and Ireland business units.
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide two references covering at least three years of employment.
