About the role

We are supporting a fast‑moving consumer goods manufacturer that is undergoing a major transformation of its supply chain and planning functions. The Master Data & Demand Planning Administrator will act as the central point for planning administration and master‑data maintenance, helping to improve data quality and support new forecasting processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and update master data for products, suppliers, locations, routes, recipes and planning systems.
  • Support the Demand Planning team with forecasting administration and planning‑cycle activities.
  • Process new product launches, range changes, location openings/closures and operational updates.
  • Perform regular data validation, reconciliations and quality checks.
  • Produce weekly and monthly planning reports, KPI dashboards and performance packs.
  • Assist forecasting activities during peak trading periods and holiday cover.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, Logistics, Finance and Supply Chain teams to coordinate planning updates.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies while maintaining audit trails.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, planning processes and master‑data governance.
  • Provide administrative support across the wider Planning function as required.

Required profile

  • Previous experience in master‑data, planning support, supply‑chain administration or data administration.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of business‑critical data.
  • Highly organised with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

What we offer

  • Initial interim contract with a salary range of £32,000–£36,000 per year (inside IR35).
  • Hybrid working model – three days on‑site in Surrey.
  • Potential for the role to become permanent as the planning function evolves.
