Mathematics Lecturer – Variable Hours

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our teaching team as Mathematics Lecturers on a variable‑hours basis. This flexible position allows you to share your maths expertise while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and assess learners across Maths programmes from Functional Skills to GCSE and beyond.
• Deliver engaging lessons covering numeracy, algebra, geometry, and statistics.
• Prepare learners for further study, apprenticeships, or careers requiring strong mathematical skills.
• Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and professional practice standards.
• Build learners’ confidence in problem‑solving and logical thinking.

Required profile

• Relevant Maths qualifications (Level 3 or above).
• Strong industry or educational experience in teaching Maths, numeracy, or related disciplines.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of curriculum requirements and assessment standards.
• Teaching qualifications are welcomed but not essential.
