Reed Education is supporting a reputable secondary school in Wakefield to hire a Mathematics Teacher for September 2026. The role involves delivering engaging mathematics lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 and contributing to the wider school community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality Mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and curiosity.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as maths clubs and enrichment programmes.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
