MD Senior Principal – Medical Strategy & Evidence Generation

About the role

We are hiring an MD Senior Principal as a senior clinical leader within Prescient’s Medical practice, based in London. The role provides scientific authority and partners with senior medical affairs leaders to shape strategy and evidence generation.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a recognised subject matter expert in one or more therapeutic areas, advising senior clients on complex medical strategy, evidence and organisational challenges.
• Provide scientific and clinical leadership across the practice’s three core offerings, delivering innovative approaches to medical affairs challenges.
• Guide clients from data and evidence to actionable recommendations in high‑stakes settings.
• Produce thought‑leadership content such as white papers, case studies and conference contributions.
• Lead business development activities, develop proposals and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders.
• Coach and mentor colleagues and lead multiple concurrent engagements.

Required profile

• MD/MBBS (or international equivalent) required; additional qualifications (PhD, MBA, MPH, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine) are a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in medical affairs, clinical development, pharmaceutical strategy or healthcare consulting.
• Deep expertise in at least one major therapeutic area, with a track record of advising senior pharma stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of real‑world evidence and healthcare data.
• Demonstrated ability to develop senior client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
• Exceptional communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
