M&E Estimator – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&E Estimator to join a leading mechanical and electrical engineering contractor delivering high‑profile infrastructure projects across highways, rail, tunnels, bridges, airports and ports. You will work within a growing commercial team, enjoying genuine autonomy, hybrid working and clear career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate mechanical and electrical cost estimates for infrastructure projects.
• Review tender documentation, specifications and drawings.
• Produce cost plans, quotations and competitive tender submissions.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal delivery teams to obtain pricing.
• Support value‑engineering initiatives and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Travel occasionally to the South‑East London office and project sites.

Required profile

• M&E Estimator or Senior Estimator with a mechanical and/or electrical background.
• Proven experience estimating large‑scale infrastructure works such as highways, rail, tunnels, bridges, airports or ports.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong commercial awareness and meticulous attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.
