M&E Supervisor / Site Manager – £45k-£70k (Cardiff)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced M&E Supervisor / Site Manager to lead commercial projects ranging from £200K to £5M across the UK. You will work on‑site alongside skilled engineers, ensuring high‑quality mechanical and electrical installations while supporting the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and manage all on‑site works.
• Provide regular project updates to the Project Manager.
• Maintain daily site diaries and photographic records using Site Audit Pro.
• Interpret and implement mechanical and electrical designs.
• Monitor quality, manage labour and subcontractors, and ensure material/equipment availability.
• Align activities with project programmes and coordinate commissioning and testing dates.
• Produce accurate as‑fitted documentation.
• Conduct toolbox talks, site inductions and uphold health & safety standards.
• Travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays and out‑of‑hours work.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ on‑site supervisory experience.
• Proven track record managing commercial projects of £200K+.
• Strong mechanical or electrical background with relevant qualifications.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and work flexible hours.
