About the role
Join a leading German manufacturer of mechanical equipment as a Mechanical Fitter, based in Middlesbrough. You will work on a diverse range of advanced machinery across the UK, providing servicing, maintenance and breakdown support while receiving hands‑on training.
Key responsibilities
- Cover the Middlesbrough area and surrounding locations.
- Perform mechanical servicing, maintenance and breakdown repairs on equipment.
- Undertake hands‑on training with a variety of mechanical plant.
Required profile
- Mechanical background covering hydraulics, motors and gearboxes.
- Experience maintaining plant, cranes, forklifts or similar heavy equipment (including ex‑forces experience).
- Able to commute to Middlesbrough and travel UK‑wide when required.

What we offer
- Basic salary £35,000 – £42,000 per year.
- On‑target earnings £50,000+ with regular overtime.
