About the role
We are seeking a mechanically‑biased engineer with strong CNC machine‑tool experience, including large 5‑axis machinery, to join a globally respected engineering business as a Resident Engineer. The role involves maintaining, servicing and fault‑finding on high‑value CNC equipment within a world‑class production environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain, service and fault‑find large 5‑axis CNC machinery.
- Work within a world‑class facility supporting high‑value manufacturing equipment.
Required profile
- Mechanically biased engineer.
- Strong experience with CNC machine tools, ideally large 5‑axis machines.
- Background in hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Experience within a precision engineering or OEM environment (advantageous).
Required skills
- CNC machine tools (large 5‑axis).
- Hydraulics.
- Pneumatics.
What we offer
- Base salary up to £42,000 with OTE up to £55,000.
- Guaranteed enhanced overtime (7 hours).
- Bonuses and excellent company benefits.
- Day‑based schedule Monday‑Friday 8am‑5pm (early finish on Fridays).
