Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Food / FMCG)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with experience in food, FMCG or manufacturing environments to join a growing production company. You will work on a modern plant, maintaining a variety of food‑production equipment while developing your electrical skills through ongoing training.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on food production machinery
• Perform mechanical fault‑finding, repairs and preventative maintenance
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems to minimise downtime
• Follow a 12‑hour shift pattern
• Take advantage of overtime and continuous training opportunities

Required profile

• Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with experience in Food, FMCG or Manufacturing
• Strong mechanical fault‑finding ability and knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent
• Looking for a long‑term, stable position
