MEP Site Manager – Mechanical (Faslane & Coulport Naval Bases)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MEP Site Manager with a strong mechanical focus to lead the delivery of mechanical and associated MEP works on large-scale construction projects at the Faslane and Coulport Naval bases. You will coordinate site activities, support subcontractors and ensure quality, safety and efficiency from installation through handover.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee site management of mechanical services including HVAC, pipework, plant, ductwork, public health and BMS interfaces.
• Coordinate mechanical works alongside electrical, CSA and specialist packages to ensure seamless MEP integration.
• Manage day-to-day site activities, logistics, access, safety and quality while promoting a safety-first culture.
• Ensure installations meet design specifications, manage inspections, snagging and sign-off.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover procedures and maintain clear communication with subcontractors, project teams and client stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an MEP or Mechanical Site Manager on large-scale construction projects with a strong mechanical background.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors on live sites with excellent coordination and leadership.
• SMSTS and CSCS qualifications and sound knowledge of UK building regulations and mechanical services standards.
• Experience on projects with £10m+ MEP value and a relevant mechanical or building services qualification (HNC/HND/Degree preferred).
• Full driving licence.
