About the role
Join United Utilities as a Meter Reader, working through Reed Talent Solutions. You will visit customers at their homes and businesses across South Manchester to collect accurate meter readings and support billing operations.
Key responsibilities
- Visit assigned properties and record meter readings accurately.
- Gather additional customer information required for billing.
- Validate and submit data within agreed timeframes.
- Plan your own working hours within the designated operating window.
- Start each day from your home address and travel to the next site.
Required profile
- Full UK driving licence (mandatory).
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily route.
- Good attention to detail for data collection.
- Flexibility to work within a 37‑hour week.
