About the role
Step into a Mid-Level Python Engineer position with the Counter Terrorist Police through the 16‑week Mid‑Level Accelerator programme. The role follows a free training course and leads to a permanent technical position with the client.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and improve software that delivers business, platform and technology capabilities.
- Deliver high‑quality, scalable and secure solutions using industry‑aligned languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to meet business objectives.
- Participate in code reviews and apply secure coding practices.

Required profile
- 1.5+ years of experience in a technology‑focused role using Python.
- Ability to pass a technical assessment in Python.
- Commitment to complete a 16‑week, part‑time training course.
- British nationality (dual nationality accepted) and residence in the UK for the past 10 years.
