Milk Tanker Driver – Class 1 Night Shift

About the role

As a Class 1 Milk Tanker Driver you will be responsible for collecting fresh milk from local farms and delivering it safely to the dairy depot during night shifts. The role combines rural driving, sample handling and a commitment to food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect fresh milk from farms and deliver to the dairy depot on schedule.
• Take milk samples on collection and ensure they are correctly labelled for laboratory testing.
• Perform occasional transhipment work and other varied tasks as required.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks using the company phone.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team and report any issues.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay up‑to‑date with industry standards.

Required profile

• Hold a valid UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
• Polite, collaborative team player with good geographical knowledge.
