About the role
ABP UK is expanding its Penston site in Glasgow and is looking for a Mince Room Operator to join the production team. The role involves operating within the mince room to meet production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and hygiene.
Key responsibilities
- Meet and continuously improve production targets in the mince room.
- Ensure product meets customer specifications and complies with critical control points, GMP and health & safety requirements.
- Maintain quality, cost control, yield and utilisation throughout the process.
- Follow traceability, product integrity, labeling, and all company, personal and food hygiene legislation.
Required profile
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced food production environment.
- Commitment to health, safety and ethical standards.
- Attention to detail for quality and hygiene compliance.
