Mixed Tax Manager – Advisory & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mixed Tax Manager to join a respected independent accountancy practice in Leatherhead. You will work alongside a Senior Manager, handling both compliance and advisory work for a diverse client base, and develop into a trusted tax adviser.

Key responsibilities

• Review and file Corporation Tax and Personal Tax returns.
• Manage a varied portfolio of corporate and private clients.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services across a broad client base.
• Advise on Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, trusts, residence and domicile matters.
• Support business restructures, shareholder planning and property transactions.
• Assist with HMRC enquiries and complex tax issues.
• Collaborate with the Senior Manager to grow the tax department.
• Work with colleagues across the firm to deliver commercially focused tax solutions.

Required profile

• ACA, ATT or CTA qualified, or approaching qualification.
• Experience within an accountancy practice, covering both personal and corporate tax.
• Proven ability to manage your own client portfolio.
• Desire to develop advisory expertise.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in building client relationships.
