Mixed Tax Semi Senior – Corporate & Personal Tax

About the role

We are seeking a Mixed Tax Semi Senior to join a well‑established independent accountancy practice in Harrow. The role offers exposure to both corporate and personal tax work within a supportive, collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare corporate and personal tax returns for a varied client portfolio.
• Manage a personal compliance portfolio with guidance from senior staff.
• Liaise directly with clients to gather information, answer queries and maintain strong relationships.
• Assist with tax planning and advisory projects across corporate and private client matters.
• Support managers and partners with technical research and advisory assignments.
• Ensure work is accurate and delivered within deadlines.
• Stay up‑to‑date with UK tax legislation and contribute to team development.

Required profile

• Experience in a UK accountancy practice handling mixed, corporate, or personal tax.
• ATT qualified, studying towards ATT/CTA, or qualified by experience.
• Strong understanding of UK corporate and personal tax compliance.
• Excellent organisational abilities and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective communication and client‑relationship skills.
• Proactive attitude with a desire for a long‑term tax career.
