Mobile M&E Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Mobile M&E Maintenance Engineer will deliver both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a variety of building services systems. Working on multiple client sites, you will ensure assets are safe, efficient and compliant with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled PPM tasks in line with maintenance plans.
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and breakdowns.
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs and undertake minor remedial work on electrical and building services equipment.
• Record all work accurately using the CAFM system and submit timesheets.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and industry best practice.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, customers and management teams.
• Escalate major defects or recommend further works when necessary.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment responsibly.

Required profile

• City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in an electrical discipline.
• Previous experience in facilities management or building services maintenance.
• Proven ability to perform both reactive maintenance and PPM activities.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Good communication and customer‑facing skills.

What we offer

• £47,800 per annum plus overtime
• Ongoing contract
• Full‑time hours Monday‑Friday 8am‑5pm
