Mobile Patrol Officer

About the role

We are recruiting a Mobile Patrol Officer to service our Mobile Patrol, Alarm Response and Keyholding portfolio across Guildford and the wider Surrey area. The role involves using a company vehicle to conduct lock‑up, mobile patrols and occasional intruder alarm responses, primarily on week‑night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol private commercial and residential premises and surrounding roads.
• Undertake property inspections as requested.
• Lock and unlock premises, set and disarm alarms.
• Respond to alarm activations and security breaches.
• Collaborate with residential security teams, the control room and Mobile Security Managers.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence.
• SIA licence (Security Guard – SG or Door Supervisor – DS).
• Resident of Surrey or near Guildford.
• Comfortable using GPS devices and mobile phones.
• Willing to work alone and adapt between day and night shifts, including occasional travel to London.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GPS navigation devices.
• Experience using MS Outlook.
• Experience using MS Word.
• Experience using MS Excel.
