Mobile Plant Engineer – Door to Door Pay

About the role

This position is for a Mobile Plant Engineer who will travel across a regional patch in Bedfordshire, servicing construction machinery for a leading rental company. The role includes manufacturer‑led training, funded qualifications and the opportunity to progress to senior positions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and fit a range of construction machinery, including telehandlers.
• Travel using a company‑provided van, fuel and tools to perform door‑to‑door work.
• Collect parts delivered to sites and receive door‑to‑door payment.
• Work Monday‑to‑Friday with optional weekend overtime.

Required profile

• Experience as a Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Engineer or similar maintenance role.
• Willingness to undertake manufacturer‑led training and obtain funded qualifications.
• Based in Bedfordshire and able to cover the South East England region.
