Mobile Service Technician – Medical Device Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a technically skilled, customer‑focused Mobile Service Technician to install, maintain, calibrate and repair specialist bio‑decontamination and infection‑control equipment used in healthcare, pharmaceutical, laboratory and clean‑room environments across South Wales and the South West of England.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and servicing on electro‑mechanical decontamination equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults in pumps, motors, fans, valves, relays, sensors, ultrasonic atomisation systems and control electronics.
• Carry out electrical fault‑finding using multimeters and diagnostic tools.
• Inspect, calibrate and test humidity, airflow and process sensors; conduct leak testing and tubing inspections.
• Support equipment installations, commissioning, validation and emergency breakdown response.
• Deliver operator training and maintain accurate service reports, calibration records and maintenance logs.

Required profile

• Electro‑mechanical engineering or field service background.
• Experience working with regulated environments such as NHS, life‑science or clean‑room facilities.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a commitment to health‑ and safety standards.
