Mobile Vehicle Technician

Join Halfords as a Mobile Vehicle Technician and become part of the growing Mobile Expert team, delivering workshop‑quality servicing, maintenance and repair at customers’ homes and workplaces.

Key responsibilities

• Perform interim, full and major vehicle services.
• Fit batteries and dashcams.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and fault diagnostics.
• Fit tyres, repair punctures and balance wheels.
• Service and re‑gas air conditioning systems.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in vehicle maintenance & repair (or equivalent time‑served experience).
• Proven experience in a vehicle servicing and maintenance role.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than six points.
• Strong communication skills and confidence when dealing with customers.
