HGV Driver – Hazardous Materials Delivery

About the role

Brenntag UK & Ireland, part of the global Brenntag Group, is recruiting drivers to be based at its London depot. The depot is responsible for the safe loading and delivery of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, working to planned schedules and agreed policies and operational procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Load and deliver hazardous and non-hazardous materials safely
• Work to planned schedules and agreed policies and operational procedures
• Communicate with customers and management to deliver the product safely
• Contribute to the safe, efficient operation of the depot by following procedures and working as part of a team to meet on-time deliveries

Required profile

• HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence (with C+E/C entitlement)
• Current driver CPC training
• Multi-drop experience is extremely useful
• ADR certificates (all classes except 1 and 7) are preferable, though training can be provided for the right candidate
• Strong customer focus and good record keeping skills
• Awareness of drivers' hours legislation
