Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (French/Spanish) – Full‑Time

About the role

Reed Education is partnering with a Good‑rated secondary school in Cambridgeshire to hire a dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher. The role starts in September and offers a long‑term, full‑time placement teaching French and/or Spanish to Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging French and/or Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Foster a love of languages and cultural awareness among students.
• Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress.
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with the Languages department and wider school staff.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching French and/or Spanish in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Passion for language learning and raising student attainment.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
