Mortgage Advisor – Remote & Hybrid, Self‑Employed

About the role

The Openwork Partnership is seeking experienced Mortgage & Protection Advisers to join its network on a self‑employed basis. You will work remotely or in a hybrid model, delivering tailored mortgage and protection advice to clients across the South East of England.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalised mortgage and protection solutions based on each client’s financial situation.
• Manage the full advisory process from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships and develop referral partnerships.
• Generate new business through networking, marketing and business‑development activities.
• Ensure all advice and activities comply with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards.

Required profile

• CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) with proven experience in mortgage and protection advice.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Commercially minded with a drive to grow a client portfolio.
• Self‑motivated, professional and customer‑focused.
• Good understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.

Required skills

• CeMAP qualification (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of mortgage products, protection insurance and related financial services.
• Familiarity with FCA regulatory framework.
