MOT Tester – Full‑time in Farnham

About the role

Join Halfords, the UK’s largest automotive service and repair business, as a qualified MOT Tester. You will work in our Farnham centre, performing MOT inspections and supporting the workshop with light vehicle maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
• Record test results accurately and issue certificates.
• Assist the workshop team with routine light‑vehicle maintenance when not testing.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant testing environment.

Required profile

• Valid MOT Testing Licence (or willingness to discuss alternative roles).
• Full UK driver’s licence with no more than nine penalty points.
• Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to help colleagues.
