Motor Fraud Solicitor / CILEX Lawyer / Experienced Paralegal

About the role

Our client, a nationally recognised law firm specialising in insurance, is expanding its Motor Fraud team. The successful candidate will handle suspected fraudulent motor claims, including staged accidents and inflated costs, managing a personal caseload of litigated matters.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate motor insurance claims to identify fraud indicators.
• Manage a full caseload of litigated matters from inception to resolution.
• Provide commercial legal advice to insurers and advise on strategy.
• Liaise with clients, industry bodies and enforcement agencies.
• Meet key performance indicators and stay updated on legal developments.
• Prepare and present evidence in court and alternative dispute resolution.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, CILEX Lawyer, or experienced Paralegal with litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules.
• Proven ability to manage own caseload independently.
• Excellent communication, analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Commercial, solution‑focused mindset.
• Prior experience in personal injury or similar area preferred; fraud experience beneficial but not essential.
